Jezersko and Pavlič Saddle

Start at Preddvor taking road 210 to Jezersko. Soon after Zgornje Jezersko village (“jezero” is Slovenian word for lake) is a nice place with a restaurant by the Planšarsko jezero (lake) – about 300m to the right from the road 210.

Take the border pass to Austria and soon after arriving in the valley turn right to Pavličevo sedlo (Paulitsch Saddle). Pavlič Saddle is another mountain and border pass back to Slovenia.

If you are rarely in this area, take time and detour to Logarska Valley.

Follow 428 to Radmirje where it joins 225.

From there you can break and head thru Gornji Grad to Kamnik.

Or continue in the direction of Polzela to A1/E57 motorway.

Taverna Svetinje, Jeruzalem

Štajerska (Styrian) hills are traditionally wine-producing area of fine wines. Mainly around Jerusalem wineries receives high international awards. Vino Kupljen is more than 180 years old excellent wine cellar. Their restaurant Taverna offers also plenty of local specialties and traditional food. Rooms are available. Definitely worth of your attention. The turistic offer of this small region is not possible to describe in this short tips, so, I suggest you take some time and discover more by yourself.

Logarska Valley

Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful alpine valleys in Karavanke where maintaining tourism for those who want beautiful nature, peace and relax, walking, hiking or cycling. Or you can just relax while driving and eat delicious local food and delicious European cuisine. The valley ends with a walking path to the Rinka waterfall.
